I also saw many of my favoured artist like J.M.W Turner, Hans Holbein the Younger and Claude Monet. My favourite piece their was "the ambassadors" BY Hans Holbein THE YOUNGER.

MK Gallery -Milton Keynes-

During one of my spare weekends I went to the MK gallery as it was local to me. I really enjoyed the visit as I saw an exhibition of many artworks on loan to the gallery which varied in medias such as paintings, drawings and even a piece made out of neon lighting. My favourite artist that I saw there was Lynette Yiadom-Boakye as I loved the amount of detail and reflection she put in her charcoal compositions of real life images. My favourite piece there was
‘Mesmeric’ by Lynette Yiadom-Boakye as I loved the way she composed the 2 objects together and how he creates a sad and gloomy atmosphere within the piece.

TATE Modern -London-
When I visited Tate Modern I was buzzing with excitement not knowing that I would come back on the train exhausted but full with more inspiration for future artworks. There was by far the most pieces of art ranging from paintings and sculptures to photographs and neon lights. This allowed me to explore different categories of art I haven't previously focused on like sculptures and photography. I didn't really have a favourite artist as I liked many different pieces for many different people but the main person I liked was Toyin Ojih Odutola who is a Nigerian-born artist who works with oil pastels and charcoal. My favourite piece from him was Groundless II which I loved because of his use of both pastel and charcoal and I also liked the smoothness and clearness of every single line he drew. This created a contrasting effect between one half of the piece and the other.
